Dear Parishioners,

This Saturday, the 15th of August, 2015 is our annual church picnic day. It is also the day of Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, and India’s Independence Day.
The weather is forecasted to be warm and good. Come with your picnic spirit and attire and participate in the games; and have fun, and food. The purposes of our annual picnics are fun and community building.

Location:
Wickham Park
1329 Middle Turnpike W, Manchester, CT 06040

There are many pavilions and our pavilion is “Pines Pavilion”. Ask for directions to our pavilion at the gate. There is an entrance fee of $5 per car at the gate.
The park opens at 9.30 AM and closes at 7 PM. The picnic begins at 10.30 AM. The Games and activities starts at 11 AM. We start with kids and family games. We wish to finish the grilling and serving by 1 PM. So please come early.

Please remember the following:

Entrance fee at the gate for your car.
Keep the park clean.
Use trash bins located in the park. Please instruct the children about the same.
Please bring in chairs if you must need them while watching games etc. We would be moving away from the pavilion and benches for some of the games. Chair is optional. Carrying them around may not be fun. But please bring them in if you must need them.
Dress up for the occasion.
Participate in the games.
Have fun.

Sponsors, please do not buy the stuff, pay the suggested amount to Luke Francis or the trustees. We have bought the stuff to take care of last minute changes and to make sure uniformity and to reduce your trouble. Thank you for sponsoring.

Carry some money with you. Our youth is planning a raffle and prices are iPads (First price iPad Air, and Second price iPad Mini; both latest version from current lineup and minimum 16 GB). The draw is on the day of Church feast. The savings from the raffle goes to the church.

Thank you all for your participation.
Thank you all the volunteers for your time, efforts, ideas and enthusiasm.

Happy picnicking!
