1. CCD News: School of Religious Education would like to thank all parents and teachers for making the first day of CCD a great success. We appreciate your support. We have 54 students in our CCD class and registration is still open.
2.Mass in English: As it is the third Sunday of the month we will have our Holy Mass in English today.Rev.Fr.Dennis Connell,Parochial Vicar at the Basilica of the Immaculate Conception,Waterbury of the Archdiocese of Hartford will be with us today as co-celebrant and he will give the sermon. Everyone please plan to attend.

Pope Francis arrives in USA: This week we are honored to welcome His Holiness Pope Francis to the shore of the United States.The Holy Father is coming to the United States of America to attend the World Meeting of Families which will be held in Philadelphia.Historically the visit of the Pope to a particular country is a time of great outpouring of the Holy Spirit and a chance for real growth in the Catholic life for the peoples of our nation. I encourage all of our parishnors to follow attentively as manyof the events as possible,most of which is available on Shalom TV and EWTN . More importantly,please pray for the Holy Father during this time,that hisvisit is successful and through him the faith of Catholics in the United States will be strengthened.

Congratulations: Best wishes and congratulations to Noah Abraham Mathew S/O Mr.Anil & Babitha Mathew of our parish, who received the Holy Sacramentsof Baptism, Confirmation and Holy Communion in accordance with the SyroMalabar rite at the Holy Spirit Catholic Church, Newington on Saturday September 19,2015.
